THE IMPACT REVEALS ITS CALENDAR FOR THE CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP PHASE

MONTREAL – Winner of the preliminary round against the Real Estelí FC 1-0 on aggregate goals, the Montreal Impact presented Thursday its six-game calendar of the CONCACAF Champions League group phase, which will take the form of a round robin tournament of four groups of four teams each.

MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact (10-10-4; 34 points) is playing Friday its 25th game of the season against the Minnesota Thunder (8-11-7; 31 points) at Saputo Stadium (7:57 pm, Radio-Canada, FSW, CKAC Sports, THE TEAM 990). CARY, North Carolina – After a delay of 135 minutes due to violent thunderstorms, the longest game interruption in club history, two goals from forward Peter Byers (45th and 83rd minute) led the Montreal Impact (10-10-4; 34 points) to a 2-0 shutout against the Carolina RailHawks, Saturday, at WakeMed Park, in Cary, North Carolina.
