| CAREER |
Played for the Twin Cities Tornado in the Premier Development League (PDL) in 1998... Made his USL D1 debut with the Impact in 2000... Spent over 1,000 minutes on the field for the first time of his career with the Impact in 2002... Picked up three assists in a 3-1 win against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, June 9 in Montreal... Therefore tied the club record for most assists in a game... Scored his first two career goals with the Impact in 2003, both on penalty kicks... In 2004, tallied 10 points, good for third place among Impact scorers… Started all five playoffs games in 2004 for 449 minutes of play, one minute less than the maximum possible of 450... Was on the starting eleven for the championship game, which the Impact won 2-0, against the Seattle Sounders... Was one of seven Impact players to earn 20 starts or more over the 2005 regular season… Scored his first career Impact goal during the flow of play in Montreal's 4-0 win over Minnesota on May 21, 2006, his previous five goals having all been scored on penalty kicks... August 31, 2006, in Portland, reached the 10,000 career minutes played mark with Montreal, becoming the team's 8th player to do so... In 2007, was the player who played the most with 2,328 minutes and 27 games, two personal records since the beginning of his career in 2000… Played many games as a central defender, due to the absence of injured defenders… Scored three goals, tying his personal high of 2004… Also added one assist for a total of seven points, good for the fourth rank among Impact scoring leaders.
AMATEUR
Played four years with the Fairleigh Dickinson University Knights, in the NCAA… Was proclaimed Most Valuable Player of his team in 1998 and 1999 and was selected to the Conference’s All-Star Team three times… Originally from St. Lambert on the South Shore of Montreal, also played for FC Sélect Rive-Sud in the Quebec Elite Soccer League (QESL).
INTERNATIONAL
Invited to the Canadian national team's training camps, January 8-20 in Carson, California, and May 1-8, 2006 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida... Was selected for the international friendly against the United States, January 22, 2006 in San Diego, that resulted in a 0-0 tie... Was part of the starting 11 for the first two games of the 2005 Gold Cup, July 7 against Costa Rica, and July 9 against the USA... Was invited to a national team’s training camp for the first time in January 2005 at Fort Lauderdale… Played his first game with a Canadian national team on July 2, 2005, in the Canadian World Cup team’s international friendly against Honduras.
2008 SEASON
Ended the campaign with one goal and one assist in 21 games and 1, 818 minutes of play… Was the only player on the team who started the first 20 games of the season (1,712 minutes)… Was one of the seven players on the team who played more than 1,500 minutes during the regular season… On July 25 in Rochester, became the fifth player in Impact history to start 150 games with the club… On August 20, against the Atlanta Silverbacks, became the fourth player in club history to reach the 200-games played mark… Was one of the four Impact players who played the four games of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship… Ended the season first on the team with 33 fouls… In the preliminary round of the CONCACAF Champions League, injured his right foot against Real Esteli FC on August 27, an injury that kept him out of the lineup for the remainder of the season… Signed a two-year deal with the team on January 5, 2009.
