WITH THE IMPACT...

Was a member of the Impact’s inaugural edition, in 1993... This defender who excelled at covering the opponent’s best striker scored the series-winning goal in the 7th shoutout round that allowed Montreal to eliminate the Los Angeles Salsa in the semifinals and move on to the 1994 championship game... Was subsequently part of the team’s starting eleven when the Impact beat the Colorado Foxes 1-0 in the playoff final and won the 1994 league championship... Also helped Montreal win the regular-season titles in 1995 (17-7 record), 1996 (21-6) and 1997 (21-7)... Played over 2,000 minutes in five straight seasons, from 1995 to 2000 (the Impact did not play outdoors in 1999)... When his stint with the Impact ended following the 2001 season, after playing 185 games with the outdoor team, was the Montreal squad’s record holder for most career minutes played, with 16,062... Has since been surpassed by Nick De Santis and Mauro Biello... Also played for the Impact indoors in the NPSL...

...AND ELSEWHERE

Was Team MVP in 1988 and 1991 with the Canadian Soccer League’s Montreal Supra... Made his CSL debut as a forward with the Ottawa Pioneers... Won the gold medal at the first-ever Francophone Games, in 1989... Also played for the Canadian World Cup team, notably for the first two editions of the Gold Cup tournaments, in the early 1990’s...
